North Downs is a members' golf club and has a membership of about 500. The Club offers Men and Ladies membership and has a very active junior section. A full programme of competitions and fixtures is organised throughout the year and members of all standards are encouraged to take part in as many or as few events as they wish. The Club welcomes all new members, whether joining by invitation from an existing member or those who are new to the area, or indeed golfers looking to join a true members' club.
North Downs has recently joined the Surrey Hills Golf Clubs Alliance. This gives members the opportunity of playing four other local Surrey courses for a green fee of only £5 in the week and £10 at the weekend. The four other Clubs are Chipstead, Epsom, Redhill & Reigate and Reigate Heath
