North Downs golf course is a parkland course set on the North Downs at between 800 and 850 feet above sea level, with spectacular views in all directions. The course, whilst not long, is nevertheless challenging and requires careful shot selection and accuracy to cope with the demands of the layout. The course was originally laid out with 9 holes in 1899 and was extended in 1971 to 18 holes and its current 5,815 yards, par 69, SSS 69. The Clubhouse is a comfortable, traditional style building with bar and catering facilities. Visitors and guests are always very welcome at North Downs Golf Club.
